I calculate mine from fill ups, I can't stand only chucking £10-20 of petrol in a car so makes it quite easy.

 

My trip computer under reads by 1.5mpg, which I reset when I fill up

Last fill mine had done 22.88 mpg by the pump. The computer showed exactly 23 mpg. That's the most accurate I've had in any car. In my last 3 cars, BMW 3 series over read by about 1.5 mpg, my first Octavia vRS by 1 mpg, and my second one by 0.5 mpg.

Anywhere between 15 on a good day and 32 mpg on a bad day , but really dependent on the right foot and mine erred on the heavy side
