Gents,

 

Looking for a decent, inexpensive tyre. I know the default answer to all tyre related questions is "MPSS" but I'm not keen to spend £600 on tyres.

 

The Hankooks have got decent reviews, was wondering what people's experience is with them like?

Best way to ask from what I've seen - Give a budget - I.e. say I want to spend £120 MAX! per tyre, NO I cannot stretch the budget. That way it removes everyone saying If you pay x amount you can get these

 

If it helps, I think I have two on the front of my Zed, not had any problems yet Survived more than my engine did on track.

Never used them but for £540 apparently you can get eagle f1s. Or for £128 per corner re050s.

im running Ventus V12 Evos front and S1 Evo2 on the rear of my zed, haven't had any problems with them so far!

I have goodyear eagle f1s on the rear of my car (standard Rays size) and I think they were like £120 each from tyreleader.

I've had 2 sets on my zed over the years, I've never had a problem, really good grip in the dry but can get a bit twitchy in the wet if being driven a quickly.

 

There quite a soft compound so don't expect massive life out of them but other than that I like them.

On advice from forum members I went with Goodyear Eagle f1s and I've not ended up in a hedge, so they must be good 😀

I rate them as decent tyres, certainly better than Falken F452's. They are also quiet tyres which is nice.
