can anyone help - Roadster roof

I noticed the other day that the bar above my head looks different on one side that the other. when i looked i noticed that the metal strip that material is attached to has been bent! it doesn't effect the roof, which works fine. but im worried in case this is an issue i need to get sorted now! i have attached some photos. Has anyone else had this problem with their tops?

I dont this this middle bar is part of the working roof, i think its more of a support. correct me if im wrong!

It looks to me to be part of the mechanism that helps the roof fold properly, just a bar to push the material neatly. If it all works then personally I'd just keep an eye on it. You have a pic of it as it is now so you can easily tell if it is getting worse. :)

Just looked to my roadster roof,............my bar isn´t bented,...........completly straight. But if everything works fine,......don´t worry

As long as it opens and closes fully that is the main thing.

 

Roadster's roofs can be a bit of a problem. I had a couple of teething problems with my old 350z roadster.

I'm just sat in mine and yep, bar is straight. If it works and it's water tight, leave it well alone (having just replaced my roof and not been easy!).
