A pillar removal

How difficult is it to take the A pillar cover off so I can paint the roof. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Watched mine get removed when I had a new screen fitted.

B pillars removed first - clips.

A pillar has about 8 screws under the rubber door seal that need to be removed before it being unclipped.

+1 as Shenley said carefully remove the rubber to expose the eight screws.

I had taken mine off after a nissan main dealer said it was two screws and just clips.

Mine cracked and I'm currently looking for a replacement. They are very delicate so go slow and carefull.

This shows the clips but not the eight hidden screws!!

+1 for being careful, one of my b pillar covers got cracked during removal

FYI if anyone needs to replace this trim with a second hand one then note there was a slight change to it on the 07 Plate onwards.

That info came from a Nissan main dealer.

Thanks for all the info I will be very careful when removing the A pillar cover. I will be getting help with this as my friend has been working in bodyshops for 20 year's. Should be fun as the paint and materials are all freebies my mate liberated from his work it makes it so much more like Christmas. I will post the pictures of all the steps. Thank you everyone.
