Netnomad Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 (edited) Finally got around to fitting my spacers, 20mm all round...Rear were a bit of a mission as the old studs had to be removed and longer studs put in (removal of calipers disks and handbrake shoe) Fronts were a breeze as stud already installed. Rear new studs being pulled in Rear spacer fitted Front spacer fitted Results Front Rear Finished Edited September 14, 2014 by Netnomad 1 Quote
Nick350z Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Taken it out for a drive yet? Any noticeable changes? Quote
Netnomad Posted September 14, 2014 Author Posted September 14, 2014 Taken it out for a drive yet? Any noticeable changes? Yes had a good run on A roads B roads and motorway and the handling feels much improved and feels more planted. Well pleased with the results Quote
GMballistic Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Looks good ~ stepped the Rays out nicely. Might be worth mentioning what size spacers they are front/rear just in case anyone else is wondering about doing it to their Zeds and wants the same look. Quote
Lyndzzz Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 They look really good I keep toying with the idea but unsure as I keep reading mixed reports! Glad you have found it a positive move Quote
Netnomad Posted September 14, 2014 Author Posted September 14, 2014 I read all the reports and was expecting issues but luckily none at all 1 Quote

Lyndzzz Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Might have to add them to the growing "things to buy" list Quote
Randy_Baton Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 The main reason I don't do this is that it would bring me 20mm closer to kerb rash every time I park. 1 Quote
GIXXERUK Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Looks much better, the big arches drown the wheels without spacers imo 1 Quote
tatooandy67 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Looks great, spacers are a must do IMO Quote
mrt Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Might have gone with 30 mill rears IMHO. 1 Quote
