I was wondering if anyone knew the best sort of tape to stick them down with or if they can be heated to mould to the shape of the light? Any helps much appreciated! LordSQra Posted September 14, 2014 Share Posted September 14, 2014 Mine are from Tarmac as well and I stuck them with 3M tape but after few washes they also started to lift. I don't know how the plastic ones are but the fiberglass ones are quite thick, really hard to bend and they tend to distort to their original form. I was thinking if someone could make metal ones where you actually weld them on or attach them somehow to your bonnet, so they are not stuck on tape,there will be no lifting and no glue will be left on your headlights after removing them, they would just lay perfectly on headlights.
