compression test and S/C

Thought I would put this in its own thread as im the only one and GMB who comments on my build thread :lol: :lol:

had my compression test done today and the first 4 were at 180 but the back two were on 170, not sure if its meant to be like that? would these results be ok for me to go S/C?

 

 

Below is results for each cylinder

 

(back of engine bay)

 

170 170

180 180 (Oil in spark plug hole)

180 180

 

(Front of car)

You have a build thread????? :lol:

 

 

They will be fine mate - oil in plug hole (usually the rear on bank 2 goes first) is the cam cover it cannot be replaced you need a new cover at some point to fix that.

 

what's the mileage?

71k - just run in and loosened up should be just right for some boost ;)

 

 

Or maybe a nice forged engine to drop in there - may be one available soon if my car doesn't sell ;)
