350z centre console flip up compartment on dash question

Hi all,

 

can someone tell me how the centre flip up compartment on the dash comes off please?

Do you mean just the lid of whole compartment?

 

Whole compartment just screws in from behind, so centre consul out.

 

The lid also screws on once off, but dont loose the springs and note their position for when you put in back on.

Just be careful, once you free it, to disconnect the lead for the gauges up the top - and whatever you do, don't forget to reconnect it when you start to screw it all back together
