Guest prescience Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 it was my profound misfortune to catch 15 mins of the X-Factor tonight - and let me apologise but I have never seen this cr*p before. I had heard tell of some judge who I now discover is Louis Walsh having been sacked but now suprise surprise (perhaps to the whole Sun-reading country) he is back. Well how amazing is that Is there any person out there who actually believes this sh*te and who is not also a fan of WWE wrestling. Rant over, I feel better now (but still insulted by these TV bozos). Is this forum called www.letoffsteam.co.uk Quote
Guest prescience Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 In case you hadn't guessed, it's me I'm annoyed with for leaving a pub showing the Rugby on Sky, to walk back through driving wind and rain to watch the game at home with my wife - only to discover our esteemed guests like the X-Factor Quote
martinmac Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 Think you need to review your guest list. If you are quick you can probably catch in depth analysis on BBC 17 or whatever. If not it will be repeated. Ahh, Top Gear Re-runs, Quote
Stew Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Is that crap back on? I just read the Ben Elton book Chart Throb and it totally took the p!ss out of X factor. Quote

Guest prescience Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 They make there own fun there. Insest (sp?), a game for all the family! However, taken from the Aberdeen City Council Guidance So, in summary, on arriving in Aberdeen, what you need to do is : 1. Contact Transport (you need to get out of there as fast as you can) 2. Contact Emergency Services (you need protection during your brief stay) 3. Contact Medical Services (you need some medication to make sure you never make the same mistake again) It's official Quote
Stew Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Ha ha! Very good! That's why a) I don't live in Aberdeen City and why I'm in the South of France! Now where do I put directions to Tillydrone on that council website..... Quote
Kev946 Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 I love the early episodes of the X factor. Some of the auditions are very funny. I wouldn't put myself out to watch though. Quote
AndyC Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 They have auditions at the hotel next to me, hear them getting filmed out on the bridge - had some well funny moments watching that!! Far more enteraining than the program Quote
