Right i went backwards and forwards like crazy on what cbe to go for the it came down a choice of 2

the invidia and the new cobra from cougar store

I was swayed to the cobra on looks and price also on availabilty at the time

i met with jaz and he took me in his it sounded great so the order was placed

so i had the system fitted by the guys at cougar store on 31st of may and headed more or less straight to Scotland to cover around 1500 miles and what can i say other than awesome

so ill try and break this down for you...

LOOKS.

I opted for the 5 inch rolled tips and they look great. they fill and fit the bumper lovely.

SOUND

on start up its pretty loud but soon calms down to a nice low burble.

once the system gets warm/hot you get some lovely rolling burble and subtle pops when backing of the throttle. when your on the power you go through a few stages where by up to 2500 rpm, nice deep growl between 25000 and 3000 rpm you get a little drone but don't get me wrong its by no means awful or intrusive as this was one thing i didn't want .then as you climb to 3000 that fades out to a beautiful V6 howl.l its an awesome noise just what it should of sounded like to start with.

I've found that when cruising up to 2500 its almost silent so up to about 60 mph, then you want to be around 3000 revs and up to cruise quietly. if you are on the power at 2500 its a little noisy but most definitely easily avoidable.

like i say i've have just covered 1500 miles in a week with a mix of motorway and country blasting and plenty of cruising its a lovely system all in all.

i would highly recomend it

Declare it - if Admiral is anything to go by it won't make much difference to the cost

I declared my Cobra cat-back to Admiral, cost next to nothing - around £20 extra on the premium for the year. Obviously this doesn't include their ridiculous admin charge...

And glad you're happy with it nissanman - I knew you'd made the right choice!
