I'm currently driving a renault sport megane R26 which is up for sale and as soon as thats gone i will be on the hunt for a 350z. I'm looking at getting a GT in any colour apart from black and i quite like the tan interior!! got a budget of about 8k really looking forward to it as they seem to have a quite reliable engine and looks a lot more car than the megane! pjf1985 Posted May 10, 2014 Share Posted May 10, 2014 Trade Link is a good seller, they specialise in 350Z's. But yeah you're looking in all the places pretty much! Pistonheads is always good. 350zedd Posted May 10, 2014 Share Posted May 10, 2014 Engine differences between the models: From 02 to 05 the cars had the VQ35DE engine (276bhp) 06 cars had the VQ35DE rev-up which had revised valve timing and cams giving a higher rev limit and more power at 296bhp but slightly less torque From 07 onwards its the 313 fitted with VQ35HR engine which according to Nissan is 80% uprated. May have seen it around Been looking at the 313 and there are a couple that I could stretch tok but they are black! My last 2 cars have been black abd I'm fed up with keeping then clean!
