fmouse Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Hi No difference in terms of fuel consumption - Not tested the emmissions so don't know if they are less. I tested the PilotGreen device - which is basically the same device you list in that ebay link. As other people have posted in previous years if these devices worked the car companies would fit them as standard to their fuel lines. So save your money and put it towards some worthwhile, like a good shampoo and car wax FM Quote

Chesterfield Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I would have to question if a powerful magnet costing pennies could make all that difference, why manufacturers dont fit them as standard? Perhaps the desire not to feel ripped off casues people to beleive it cuts fuel consumption - sounds like technological placebo to me, sorry Quote
SwissZ Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Surely this has been asked before??? I've seen posts about these things on every car forum I've ever been a member of and on every one it was deemed to be BS big time.... especially by people who got suckered into buying one Quote
