DaddyCee Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Hey All. You know the plastic bits around the wing mirrors that are suppose to be black, well mine have turned a lighter shade of grey. I heard that smooth peanut butter is a good way to restore the original colour, but wondered if anyone had any other tried and tested methods please, Cheers, DC. Quote
DaddyCee Posted April 4, 2014 Author Posted April 4, 2014 (edited) sounds interesting where do I get this magical product from? ah no worries found it on ebay and amazon. Edited April 4, 2014 by DaddyCee Quote
pmorg4 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Gtechniq C4 is great for black plastic trim. Expensive but a bottle goes a long way and it lasts well over a year (still going strong on my BMW when I sold it after 18 months). Quote
samsniss350z Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I use Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel, I also use it for the inner front wings and the scuttle below the windscreen. I don't even add any product I just use what has been absorbed by the sponge applicator as it looks crap if you daub it on. Quote
GIXXERUK Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Forever black doesn't wash off, it's a dye and not expensive Quote
