xStric9x Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Fab company sh1te weather, well organized Martin and Max , hope you get everything sorted Chris!! Would you bloody believe that there's not one cloud in the sky ere
davej Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Got to say thanks to everyone there today, for making me and janice's 1st meet a good experience. The feeling when when all you see in front and behind is zed's is a great one. By the way what did mine sound like from behind? Just a shame the great british summer weather and other monkeys on the roads conspired against us, next time guys! And yes its was sunny and dry when i got home Dave
Chesterfield Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Hi! Great to meet lots of new faces - and thanks for sorting the room for the night Martin Also had the pleasure of the M6 car park too! Now where did I put the T-cut??
martinmac Posted September 16, 2007 Author Posted September 16, 2007 Thanks guys, really dont know where all the traffic came from today. Comments back from the locals were priceless, should be on commision from the local dealership. Think we may have to re open the thread on the best roads in Britian for zeds with the addition; able to drive at over 30mph. And Chesterfield, if it makes you feel better, the consensus here is that the "YELLOW ONE IS AWESOEME". Makes me feel worse for some reason As for the new merchandise, put me down for one of everything ( of suitable size) as a first order.
Chesterfield Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Pah - it could have been worse - could have been where the Peugeot was and not had the benefit of another car being the buffer between myself and the recovery truck. I knew I needed a kick up the arse to get the bodykit fitted thats been lying around for a couple of months or so, but I wasnt expecting it litterally!
red or zed Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Hi guys! A MASSIVE thanks to Martin and Liz for their hospitality and organisation- Martin, I know you have apologised for the weather and traffic not being great, but ive still not had an apology for you making me have a hangover on sunday! seriously though, thanks for a great weekend and it was good too see all those zeds in convoy! Hopefully the traffic will be lighter and the skys clearer at the end of Oct... Chesterfield, hope you sort out your car mate, just give Jacko a yell, im sure he will polish those blemishes right out... Matt
martinmac Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 Quite right Mike, will get round to it as sonn as the camera dries out. Chesterfield may be more impressive though if he can use them legally
xStric9x Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Think it would be a good idea to change your signature now Chris, cause thats already been done
Digsy Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Think it would be a good idea to change your signature now Chris, cause thats already been done Good to see everyone and meet Dave and Janice for the first time.
xStric9x Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 In all fairness though Chris, those are some fat exhaust on ya yella butt What are they?
Chesterfield Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Its an Injen dual system Just need to make sure there is a tube of autosol nearby in the summer to keep them polished!
nixy Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I was going to comment on how much the red Zed stands out against the other cars - then I saw something that stood out much more............the red trainers!
red or zed Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Speaking of things that stood out, you should have seen the towel Jacko was carrying around with him- he polished his car soooo much, it turned BLUE!
davej Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 oi, leave my red trainers alone, admittedly green wellies would have been more useful by the end jacko would've seen everything if he wasnt reaching for a cloth at the time! Dave
davej Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 OK, My efforts And one of those good feelings, Sorry for not getting you in the mirror shot chesterfield!! Dave
xStric9x Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Guys how do you get the pics on a thread that size? You have to click to enlarge mine!!
davej Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Mine are resized from f@*]ing huge to 640 x 480 using a nifty little bit of freeware http://www.irfanview.com and hosted with a free account at photobucket http://www.photobucket.com it gives the codes to cut and paste straight into the forum Dave [/url]
Jacko Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Speaking of things that stood out, you should have seen the towel Jacko was carrying around with him- he polished his car soooo much, it turned BLUE! Ha ha..... that wasn't mine! It was Martin's!! I only borrowed stuff of him to clean all the tree sap off my windows, then didn't do a good job of it, so had to clean all that off the bodywork later! Jeeez.....
martinmac Posted October 21, 2007 Author Posted October 21, 2007 So feeling a little delicate after watching the Rugby I decided it was a beautiful day and needed a Zed fix. Roof down and a nice drive up through Coniston, Ambleside and Bowness. Being late in the year it should be quiter now, all the tourists having spent up and left. :scare: Absolutely gridlocked again and spent 2 hours in second and third gear. So please, if I ever come up with this stupid idea again SOMEONE STOP ME.
