Thinking of getting a buffer. Can someone who's in the know. Look at the item below that I found on eBay. And see if its any good. If it's not can someone suggest what type of buffer I should buy.

Look at this on eBay:

I'm not biggest specialist, but that looks pretty good and bargain!

I know dodo juice sell packages incl buffer etc...more expensive, but deffo good stuff!

But this might be a good find!

unless you are experienced in car polishing I would stick to the orbital type polishers. It is too easy to burn the paint if too much time is spent in one spot.

The polisher, doesnt tell you how heavy it is. Mine cost a shed load more than that but its a known brand and I rely on it.

Of the pads, the bottom 3 (waffle ones) will prob be the only ones you use!

Speeds wise, mine has lower start speed and goes to approx 2200rpm.

It might be ok, but generally I have found buy cheap, buy many times! Could be good to see how you get on, then maybe upgrade?

I got a Meguiars G220 at the same time a friend got the das6. They're almost identical! If you want a random orbital polisher for a decent price the das6 is a good choice.
