My dog carrier vectra estate has died on me and will need replacing, anybody have a vauxhall signum what do you think of them as I have found one but is in nottingham which is two hundred miles away.

a friend of mine has a signum and works for vauxhalls................ i think that is the only reason hes got one.........

I can only recall seeing one on a TV advert some time ago. Either I haven't seen one on the road, which would seem odd, or I've just thought it was a vectra or I've not noticed it at all.

Ah, I think I remember it off Top gear now. Was it the car Clarkson said would be ok if you were being chauffered in it, and then he sat in the back and steered it with rope or something attached to the steering wheel?

Signums are a bit of a lemon as far as the trade is concerned and as such they are excellent value. It should serve your purpose well just don't pay a lot for it and don't expect it to be easy to sell on afterwards.
