Confused which Mobil product should i be buying!

Hi im buying all the servicing parts i need tomorrow to do it diy and save a bunch of money from labour costs (DW i believe im a decent hobbyist mechanic )

 

anyways after reading far too many reviews on the ole interweb, im going with Mobil but here is the catch which one, after putting my reg in the halfords oil finder its thrown up these choices --

 

£23.99 Mobil - Super 3000 x1 formula 5/30 5L Fully Synth

 

or

 

£41.59 Mobil 1 ESP formula 5/30 5L Fully synth

 

For occasional weekend/sunny day cruising..

For cruising about it's not going to make much odds. Give CS or Clarks Motorsports a shout, they'll see you right

Must admit I agree with Kyle. Mobil 1 is by far the better stuff, but if you don't really stress the engine to the fullest then putting the cheaper stuff in is okay. I run that in the MR2.

Thanks for the reply guys. I guess il go with mobil 1 beings im saving on labour costs doing it myself I guess I can spend a lil more..

I live in walking distance to sure parts who supply all the local garages. So I guess im going straight to the distributer. No doubt their have all the other service parts.. im just googling the correct ngk plugs. But no doubt their computer will match just fine.

Just to update.. ive bought the Mobil 3000 it was 23.99 quid .. seems a good price for 5ltrs

I see most people here use 5-30. I'm surprised that 5-40 or 5-50 (also Mobil for example) are not more common, as we are talking about a sports car..

Same for me as i have a trade card for halfords and it makes it a reasonable price for a drop of the good stuff
