larryheardy Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Hi guys, I have been looking at getting some Berk HFC's and have found a site where I can have them shipped to the UK for £335 . Sound good? Not sure if I can post the details in case it is against the forum rules? Quote
DoogyRev Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Moved to the correct section as you asking a question and not posting the link. Quote
larryheardy Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Thanks was going to post the link and discount code but I was not sure if it was allowed as traders may not like it. Quote
GMballistic Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Definitely a worth while investment but if you import them yourself you may be hit with import tax which will surely bump that cost up a bit. I just got mine from Tarmac. That's what I'd do as if something goes wrong at least you have a trusted UK seller to go back to and they have a sale on at the moment I believe too. Quote
larryheardy Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Damn import taxes!!! I did not think of that, thank you. import duty and tax added the total landed cost would now be £426.36 Quote

Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Don't forget your £10-£15 admin charge when the courier switches to the UK too, they don't bring them to your door for free once landed in the UK. Plus there's the hassle of sending them back if they get damaged, plus if they develop a fault. I will always give help and aftermarket support for any sales and i'm available 7 days a week 1 Quote
larryheardy Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Very true Tarmac, when you put it like that. It's not worth the hassle when you think of the convenience of having you around for support. What was I thinking? Thanks PM'd Quote
ioneabee Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Tarmac is as good as his words my delivery got "mislaid / delayed" - he spent a fair bit of time tracking it down for me Quote
