Clutch noise when idle - press clutch in and noise reduces

Hi,

 

I have just noticed that there is a slight noise when car ticking over and then when I put clutch pedal down it seems to reduce. I dont know how long it has been doing this for as I only noticed today with stereo off and my drivers window down. I know the clutch is ok with regards to slipping etc as picks up fine through revs. Don't know if I am being a bit para!? Anyone got any ideas? Cheap fixes welcome - I live in Stratford Upon Avon area.

It's normal, only worry when the noise stops

I'm the other way around bit noisey when clutch depressed.

Yup normal just the clutch release bearing noise, common to most cars

But it does mean your exhaust isn't loud enough

Normal! My 313 did it. Solution as above was to fit a K1 exhaust.!!

I have a scorpion back box on the car, I dont think its the whole system (I only got the car 3 months ago - not looked under it)its loud and a sweet sound, don't think I could go much louder or I would be turning to many heads. My mate who had a scooby said he loves the sound of my car, really responsive and nice tone!
