Jdm and UK zed fuel economy

Was wondering if anyone knows whether there's any difference in fuel economy between a imported and a UK 350z ?

I to would be interested to know peoples experience of this as in theory the UK should be a fair bit better as AFAIK the UK ECU uses wide-band lambda feedback, so fueling control should be far better.

I've owned 2x JDM Zeds and on an economy run i've managed to get over 35mpg... and i've not seen anyone else manage to get such a high figure before so maybe JDM's can be better?

 

Pure speculation though.

 

If you're running the JDM guage pods you can calculate your MPG from the K/PL by the following: K/PL multiplied by 4.55, and then multiply that by 0.625

my jdm zed wont hit anything like what most people say on this forum... if i drive at 60mph i get like 25mpg tops

 

not that heavily modified, just exhaust and panel filter

I run a JDM and my recent records over 3130 miles show average 26.13 mpg. Note - I have 9 points at the moment so drive very carefully inside all the limits

(apart from the occasional run down the M58, let's not talk about those)

I get 18mpg plodding around town and 33mpg on a good motorway run, I too use Shell V-Power in my UKGT Zed.

I had my uk 300 showing 38mpg on a long run before. Around town, 11mpg with average speed of 22mph.
