window motor sticking

Ok peeps I seem to have a sticky window motoris there anything I can do to free it up or does it mean a new motor?

This is a long shot. Is it worth trying the window reset procedure before doing anything else?

 

1. Make sure the window is shut.

 

2. Keep the window button pressed down for 15 seconds. (The window will open)

 

3. Hold the window button in the 'up' position for 15 seconds. (The window will close)

 

Probably won't solve your problem, but it's worth a minute of your life, just in case.

have you tried the guide above first and refurbish the motor otherwise traders on here that sell them are Clarks Motorsport or Horsham Developments

Might be buying one of those! Time I take it all apart I might as well change the flipping thing. So annoying not being to hear the exhaust

Cheapest option is to remove the motor and clean the commutator and free up the stuck brushes if your competent, usually works.
