Ok ok - Instead of putting the dipstick back I put it down Into the engine and thought it was in :x. And ten went for.a spirited drive :O

The cleanup operation begins haha.

lots of degreaser and a synthetic brush will do the trick (swirling action). I drove 2 miles without a oil cap on a Mazda 323F (old school I know) made a horrible mess.

Seems abit fail - because I checked my oil - I now have to put some oil in....and the check it again D:

I was going to say please don't try to clean underneath whilst only up on a jack. You are better off using stands if getting or working under the car.
