"VDC OFF" and "SLIP" keep coming on?

hi guys,

 

just wondered if anybody had any idea about why this would happen? the car drives fine, but then after maybe 5 or so minutes of driving these two lights come up on the dash

 

I read somewhere it could be something to do with brake fluid not being full but mines topped up to the brim

 

Any help would be be awesome

Are you wheels/tyres the correct size?

Does it happen after coming to a stop, and does the EML light come on aswell?

 

But best thing is get it checked for codes

As above check codes.

 

I had the same symptoms with mine. Turned out to be the coil packs.

Can be a mucky sensor. There is a guide the Spursmaddave did on here to clean or change it I'm sure.

okay cool i'll find somewhere to check the codes, all wheels and tyres are standard.

 

Was just really odd, it just happens a few minutes after driving there's no real noticeable time that they come on,

Its only low brake fluid if your handbrake warning light comes on as well..

As above, try topping up your brake fluid, as in to the max line.

yeah i had herd this one before but only the two lights come on not the handbrake light

I just sold my 350z which did this, but not after 5 mins of driving, just did it every now and then, the new owner is whazza so it may be worth pmming him as i know hes looking into it to get it sorted.

I had the same problem recently, the vdc, slip and abs warning lights all showed up and the brake lights weren't working.

A new brake switch cured it for me too.
