Spacers with stanndard Rays

Recommended Posts

Hi all, ive used the search function but couldnt find much.

Ive recently got my Zed (2004 model) and it has the lovley forged Rays as stanndard. However the rears look a bit lost in the arches and im wondering how much I can space them at the back before I get rubbing issues? What would people recommend for the front too?

Thanks, Tom

Its around 2kg so barely noticeable and seeing as rays are so light its still lighter than other wheels and spacer combos the pros far outweigh the cons

do it :)

The pros are a better fuller look with 50mm increased track overall at the rear and 40mm at the front overall, they do make the car handle better imo

Stick 275's on the back as well like I did.

Car is really planted lol :)

Im running rays lowerd 30mm

25mm spacers front and 30mm rears sits perfect :)

Interesting. Do you have any rubbing issues? Do you have any photos?

I agree they look awesome with spacers - I'm still trying to work out the steering axis inclination and scrub radius affect that spacers would do on the handling in certain conditions. I'm sure you guys know more about it, but once I've worked it out I'll join in on the spacer bandwagon! :p
