Track Taster Day - Sun 27 October

Ever fancied taking your car on the circuit but didn’t know how or where to go? Our Track Taster Day gives you the opportunity to take part in one of our 30 minute taster sessions for only £39!

Is anyone interested in doing this? I don't know if I'm going to be around for it but a few of the lads said they might be up for it. If we can get a bunch of us to get the same track time, it could be fun. Then we can dash off to a local pub afterwards for some food and drink and chat about how it went.

30 minutes for £39 with other drivers who haven't done track days before? I think I'd prefer to pay for an open pit lane day where I'll get better value for money and probably be less likely to have someone drive in to me! I reckon Bedford is a pretty good track for first timers, nice long track so the cars are pretty spaced out and plenty of run off - having said that accidents can happen anywhere just like the Ginger Z that hit the pit wall last year.

If people havent driven on track before its a good shout, rather than as you put it be the muppit in the 350z on a experienced open day crashing into gt3 and other exotic, as you dont know how to drive on a track, dunno if this will be the same the MSV novice day i did everyone else was in mx5 and mr2 (and a mondeo with a halfords wing  ) so being in the 350z meant i spent most of the time out on me own, and at 30 min session every hour was a good way to do it without getting over confident or boiling fluids

Looking at booking two of these sessions on the 27th. Any other Zeds going?

I can't decide whether to do the taster sessions first or just go straight in for the open pit day on 10th November. My only concern is the weather that tie of year.

Any advice for someone that has never done a track day before?

I wanted to go on the Brands Hatch taster due to it being closer, but they only have weekdays and I've used all my holiday up at work! Silverstone is a 2 hour drive for me, but I really want to get out on the track.

I would have done BH too but on Holiday so Silverstone is the only one I can make before the weather really comes in.

Won't be booking until I know its dry though. Wet track days are not great fun in a daily.
