Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Single exit and 18" lightweight rims if you want "Go" !! But for the majority, my self included its all about "show". I think the answer to the OPs original question is there is no real definitive answer, pick something in your budget, something that you like the look of and the sound of and then that is the best exhaust for the Z. 1 Quote
Wasso Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 His one doesn't fit though, it's caused all sorts of trouble. Lol, the exhaust fits The exhaust fits, correct. Its just my other mods that don't work with Motordyne very well lol. Its costing me a further £1k to accommodate it. With having a custom rear and getting ART pipes. Also agreed rather have the MD over the Titanium R1. And like you say spare cash to buy other things. Quote
zippypooz Posted August 18, 2013 Author Posted August 18, 2013 so a dual is better than a Y pipe? what are the price differences if any?? Check the link buddy, lots of choices Heff, you are correct, a lot of that is also to do with weight saving http://tarmac.silver...fc-24678e254d1d so are most of these systems just bolt on and go!!?? Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Yeah, pretty much buddy, drop me a message if any things unclear The differences are Catback (these start at your cats and go all the way back) a complete change of system Ypipe back ( you just get the midpipe and back box - scorpion/cobra/Tanabe for example) Then you can have traditional style exhausts like a Nismo/Amuse style where you have a Ypipe or you can have the more popular True Dual types like the Invidia. Then all you need is some Berk HFCs a plenum spacer and a remap and your car starts to resemble something like how it should have left the factory so a dual is better than a Y pipe? what are the price differences if any?? zippypooz Posted August 18, 2013 Author Posted August 18, 2013 Lots of choices available but worth noting that without an uprev the exhaust once fitted will be for sound only... What's your budget as we do exhausts from £374 through to £1500.00... If you wanted a step up from the OEM system without breaking the bank then the Cobra Sport system we do would fit the bill... Ok forgive my ignorance but what is uprev?? ive never heard this term!! Quote
