samsniss350z Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Without Yutaka Katayama the 240Z would never have happened, he had to push like crazy to the top brass who were convinced that there was no point in building a sports car as the Europeans did it best. Management eh, haven't got a bloody clue!! Hence the top brass calling it a Datsun as they didn't want to bring shame on the Nissan name and brand in Japan. 1 Quote
