Lambda Sensor

Orange warning light came on a few weeks ago, when tested, saying one of the lambda sensors had gone.

Had it replaced, all good for another 400 miles, light back on, saying the same as before, ( same one )

where do i go from here ,dont wanna spend another £150 quid replacing it again, for the same thing to happen again, any ideas ????

Aftermarket exhausts and/or High flow cats/decats allow more gas flow which can cause the O2 sensor fault codes.

 

What is your exhaust set up?

What codes is it throwing up?

 

You can get O2 sensor spacers (from ZmanAlex) that can cure it 90% of the time. Give us the answers to the above questions and we will see if we can help.

Could possibly be the other sensor, I got the error code up and just changed them with a pair from Zmanalex^^ but try the spacers first since there cheaper.

So what is your exhaust and cat set up?

And what codes are you getting?

Not sure what the codes were etc,,however, got the spacers fitted now, so fingers crossed, thats sorted it.

Well as the weeks pass,,looks like the spacers have solved the problem.
