Glad your finally getting the spoiler replaced Mr G, shame you've had to fork out for the inconvienence of the poor unwarranted first one. Lets hope the new one doesn't do the same

In fairness it was warranted but only for a year, bit of a bummer really, I will be sending it back to the supplier when it comes off to see what they say.

Who supplied these, as that's not very good if its happened on more than one. Hope you're getting either a good quality replacement or a full refund.

You know I'm like at naming lol

I wasn't aware until the Ace Cafe meet that anyone else had had the same issue, I took some photos but I'm not sure whose car it was and if it came from the same supplier, funnily enough that was Azure too. Mine came from Zmanalex

Seriously? Mine too :(

But there were others in Wales 2012 with similar problems, I remember taking some photos, must dig them through the millions I have on the external drive  I've been told they were from the same supplier.

The one from ace cafe was an original spoiler on the car from the factory. It belonged to tophooker. It didn't seem to have the defects yours did.

In fairness that one exhibited completely different symptoms and were restricted to the central area only.

Really Zmanalex so what's happening about it?

What's Alex doing for you?

Not a lot so far, there has been a long conversation though, we'll see what happens when I send the old spoiler back

Well it was for a while but apparently some of these have "been known to react to direct sunlight" and the warranty is only six months.

I'm pretty sure the sale of goods act trumps any sort of 'warranty' mate
