whoopy for them....lol just kidding... thats alot of dough especially for this site which is not profit... I honestly think if i won the lottery Id put quite a bit to this site as i love it. And all the members with posts over 350 id take on an all expense paid trip to a luxury hotel near Nurburg ring and to drive their cars there, then to Bora Bora to chill and be merry.

Come on lotto tickets make it so :yahoo::yahoo:

perhaps we could makeone every member on here puts their ideas in it weekly, wonder how much that would cost?

Z Club produces its own quarterly full colour magazine for its members and it costs £3250 approx an issue inc envolopes and postage

So how many issues is that?

On those figures, that requires about 450 paying members. Even with all the good will in the world and a single site for the 350Z, I doubt a 350z specific site would ever acheive that number of paying members.

Also not to put too finer point on it, as the 350Z starts to become owned by those who have never paid for access to a forum, ie. local cruise sites etc, then the number ow owners willing to fork out a membership fee for a club will continue to dwindle.

Thats where the Z club is different, as it caters for all Z's, including marques that are perhaps owned by a generation that is more used to the aspect of paying car clubs, and as it caters for all models of Z car, it covers all bases. As various Z car models age, they fall away from "niche" markets and straight into the "Z club" audience.

Having seen a copy of the magazine, there is a great deal of effort that goes into it. Its also great that they involve other clubs allowing meets to be shared, cross posting in order to gain as many Z owners at the venues as possible. Brilliant for everyone and a real owner focused attitude.

There is no reason why we cannot look to produce an online magazine or newsletter, people can write articles, and if there is a budding publisher in our midst, they could put it together and it can be hosted for members to view each quarter.

I am a member of the Z Club and the magazine is an excellent, very professionally produced magazine. Look forward to it arriving every quarter. As it covers all Z's it makes interesting reading rather than just the 350.

The last issue had a great article about the Bathhurst 24 hr race in 2003 with an interview with the 350 driver, Ryan Hooker.

go accross and take a look. It's a free site same as this. You need to join the club to get the mag but it's worth it fot that alone.

.......................also the shop is worth a visit, with loads of bargains and friendly shopkeeper!!! ;)
