What does this button do?

Have 2 buttons above my interior Mirror and have no idea what they are for. Pushing them does not seem to do anything, does anyone know what they are for . Many thanks in advance

It's only available in Japan - its like a network linked to your car -effectively you can get directory enquiries, TV ,Web, everything really - useless here
