Help me please!

Hi to anyone that can help. I have a couple of issues! Firstly I've replaced my spark plugs with ngk laser platinums for my p3. Since they were installed my mpg has gone from 19ish to about 15. Also, might be my imagination but feels slightly slower.

Next issue is I've just installed a pop charger. I moved the car about 6 foot to get in the dry without the airbox/maf connected and now an engine management light won't go away.

Any help would be great! Thanks.

From memory I think Denso Iridium are the plug of choice by the majority

Hi thanks for the replies. I'll give the reset a go and see how I get on thanks. Would the ngk's make that much difference? I read I. My manual to use platinums. I'm not questioning your knowledge!! Rather learning from it! Lol.

I'm not sure tbh, your consumption may be out if you have been driving with the engine management light on. I would concentrate on the reset first and then go from there.

It's your pop charger messing with the mpg. We'll, actually it's fine, it'll be your heavy right foot listening to the growl

Do the pedal dance to clear your codes and it should stay away if you've reconnected the MAF.

The mpg's been down for about 3 weeks now. Only installed the pop charger 3 days ago. I'm down to 13.7 mpg!!!!!

Hi peeps. I'm trying to do the ecu reset. I'm doing exactly what the steps say, with a stop watch but I'm getting nothing, no lights flashing at all. Does anybody know a reason for this? Thanks again!
