I thought the cable gave the abbility but there is Cipher - Diagnostic only Osiris - 2 types standard and tuner I assume this comes with standard and you need tuner, I assume to do the tuning which would be the $200 upgrade? 350GT Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 $200 dollars is to upgrade from standard to tuner Standard allows uploading of tune files Tuner allows creating your own When a charger is removed from a car with an Osiris reprogram the car must be put back to stock programming Uprev provide a "Back to stock" ROM to do this, it unmarries the cable from the ECU and puts the license back onto the cable thus allowing you to transfer your license to another car, what cannot be done is removing the tune file from the ECU. I would say its a complete kit, with the addition of the injectors and Uprev cable , Vortech do not supply bigger injectors with their charger kit. and the standard Vortech kit has a piggy back ECU which means hacking up your loom, Uprev cable would remove the need to cut your loom up.
