yankeesiter Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 In preparation for an EVO triangle tour and a 3500 mile European tour this summer, I checked the pads on the rear brakes. They appear to have at least 4mm material on them. As I can't remember how thick new ones are from when I changed the fronts last year, I'm uncertain whether or not they really need changing. Any thoughts? Quote
Ekona Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 They'll be fine, unless you're planning on doing a few trackdays too. Quote
Ekona Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Is that 4mm on the inside, bearing in mind it wears quicker there? Quote
ZMANALEX Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I would change them, at least remove all 4 rear pads and check for pad thickness and for degradation Alex. Quote
M13KYF Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 +1 on checking all 4 pads. The inside pads wear more than the outside pads Quote
yankeesiter Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 Hhhhhmmm. Think I'll change them. PM on it's way Alex. Quote
