I told him they were timing chain covers as I thought thats what they were called because they had little chains behind them!

Yes they can polish up and look really good.

One downside, engine out I'm afraid. I've already asked Alex  otherwise mine would have been done. Instead I've done it in situ.

I've made an offer on a Cosworth Plenum, if I can get that, my polished OEM plenum and the MotorDyne Plenum Spacer will be up for sale. :teeth:

Nearly forgot about your plenum  gimme a shout  won't need the spacer though

His listing shows 2 available and if this be the case even if they are the same side, looking at this pics kinda leads me to believe they would fit?

I'll have a look I defo have 1 VVT not sure if I have both - would you like them powder coated in Candy Purple?

I also have a timing cover - will need to check its condition though - also could be candy purple as could the plenum ;)

You'll all see why when it's finished ;)

Please don't tell me you're going green

Could be the pic? I'd be surprised if one was longer than the other, and whilst polishing for a fair few hours with them they didn't feel any different.

(Probably still not a good example)
