CrustyCrab Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Just a quick one, Is there a manual boot release for the '53 plate coupé? I have removed and thrown out my old battery as the car is off the road for a bit pending service MoT ect. I deliberately left the boot open but accidentally let It drop the other day and now it's stuck on the latch. Any ideas? Cheers, Crab Quote

AliveBoy Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 its in a small recess. Don't look for it, feel for it. closer to the passenger side if I recall correctly. I think it might even have a small tab of Velcro to keep it up? Quote
WhackyWill Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 The manual states.. The release string handle is located under the strut tower bar inside the luggage compartment. firmly pull to left. Quote
