Harryjax Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 (edited) Just got a quote for new tyres Front= 245/40 R19 Goodyear sport SP2 for £214 each and Rear = 275/ 35 R19 Goodyear SP3 for £285 each. This is first quote I've got. Is this a good price? I've now been told to call these Michelin's not Goodyear. I know little to knowt about the black rubbery bits. Apologies for confusion it's been a hard day. Edited February 28, 2013 by Harryjax Quote

NeilMH Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 If you look at Camskill that will give you a good idea about prices for any tyres you might be considering. Quote

Dblock Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Pilot sport 2 or PS2 not sp2 as that would be sport pilot 2. They are made by Michelin not goodyear. I think you are mistaken on which tyre you was looking at. Quote

I think you are mistaken on which tyre you was looking at. My bad. All the guy wrote down was the cost and then SP2 on front with G/Y which I assumed meant Goodyear. I think I will get a quote else where. LOL. SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION GUYS. but is it a good price for the rubbery bits you drive on?? LOL Quote
Dblock Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Well its hard to say. If its proper good tyres then yes. If its middle to budget no. Mytyres and camskill will give you a good indication of price. Quote
Will370z Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Take a look at this thread earlier today - has some good links http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/68269-tyre-info-urgent/page__hl__%2Btyre+%2Bprice falkens were a good well priced tyre when i had my 350 Quote
Sam Mcgoo Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 (edited) No problem mate, only teasing. Have a read through the tyre thread for an idea of what's what. Sounds like you have a good budget so get the best you can. For that sort of money I'd go for the Michelin Pilot Super Sport (MPSS) If you go any cheaper, Bridgestone potentza RE050A.
