JAE 2013 & TRAX - looks like they clash ....

Hi every one,

I have loved JAE for many years and was going to help organise for some of us to get a 350z-uk stand there this year, however I have noticed it clashes with Trax this year! (Which is also a good show.)

JAE is Fri 6th Sept- Sun 8th Sept (Camping if you fancy it)

Trax is Sun 8th Sept

Which one do you guys think you'd rather go to? If most say Trax then I will do that one with you all. Do we usually have a stand at Trax? I know we don't have one at JAE yet......

If the majority are up for JAE then I will help organise this to happen.......

What's every ones thoughts?!

I prefer JAE

Trax is good and has a lot going on but is usually twice the price (for the Saturday and Sunday) whereas JAE last year was Friday - Monday (although Monday was just for people going home, nothing was actually going on) and with two cars I think it worked out at about £300 last year for Trax (including fuel).

JAE dates now changed!

Posted by John Fuggles this morning

"2013 has already proved to be an interesting year for events..........if only for dates! The F1 Grand Prix is on at a different time and even Goodwood Festival of Speed has changed its dates.

For the first time JAE has found itself on the same weekend as Trax. Trax having to move because of MotoGP taking their original date. Recognising that both are very different kinds of events but that JAE and Trax attract a good number of Japanese cars and car clubs we did not want to force people to make a choice and, with Trax being one day and JAE all weekend it would not be fair to run them at the same time. So, and after much discussion, it has been agreed to move JAE.

JAE 2013 will now start on Thursday 12th September and will finish on Sunday 15th September. The venue will remain the ever fantastic Wicksteed Park and all the usual fun and games, tunnel run, show n shine, football and fireworks will still be there. In fact we’ve even added some new events but more about that next time!

Gates open at 6pm on Thursday 12th September and are open 24 hours a day until we close.

See you all on 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th September!"
