My Silver 2005 350z

After selling the 5 Series I was looking for something fun and had set on an E46 M3 but after looking at a number over here they were all dogs. A friend of mine found this through the trade and offered it too me at money I could not turn down.

Its a 2005 276bhp model with standard 18's.

It needed abit of work when I got it but nothing major.

So far I have;

Replaced front lower suspension arm (banana bar/compression arm),

Wiper blades,

Fixed flapping inner guard,

Replaced damaged rear speaker,

Fitted an Ipod cable.

Has a full service history and had new brembo's all round and a service recently. Mot'd until September.

Not sure how long I will have it for, but its great fun and has an LSD!

It really needs the wheels refurbed and I was thinking of going slightly darker and having them done anthricite and possibly doing the roof with a 3m Dynoc carbon effect wrap. But I am not sure on this yet!

Seat was just shamoo'd before this photo, its not all stained!

Havnt done an awful lot to the car since getting it, got some dents out of it and gave it a good clean.

Michael at Polished Alloys refurbed the wheels in a light anthracite, they look blue in the photo but its just the light.

Got a Nismo gearknob this week which is fantastic, really like it. Also got a pop charger (filter) for it which comes highly recommended by 350z-forum users. Also fitted a set of 5mm spacers all round.

No massive plans no, will service it shortly to keep it going for the winter.

Finally got round to having a go at wrapping bits and pieces. I got the wheel inserts, door panels and the lower half of the centre console done. I have more ordered to do the top half.

Also found a couple of photos Michael took after painting the wheels, the look lighter in the photos than they actually are.

  • 3 weeks later...

Not much to update on the car, finally got round to finishing the carbon for the top half of the dash, really happy with how it turned out.

I bought the car thinking I would dickey it up and punt it on but I'm really enjoying the car and don't think I'll see it any time soon :)

It's been good fun over the last few days in the snow!
