scubapics Posted December 30, 2012 Share Posted December 30, 2012 It's the GPS antenna for the satnav I believe. Even if you car wasn't fitted with satnav this is fitted anyway. The handsfree kit was originally designed for a Nokia mobile rather than over bluetooth. With so many people using newer phones over a bluetooth dongle, the antenna no longer serves any purpose.
