is this the stuff he put in the tr6 on wheeler dealers last week if so on theory sounds good as no water in system been less/no corrosion and no scale build up, never needs replacing can open the system whilst hot etc

Yep thats the stuff. They let it get to temp. and then opened the cap.... nothing, no expansion. i'm just not sure.

 

Was thinking the same thing, its still a liquid so should absorb a certain amount of heat?

was discussed on the XKEC from memory and eventually ruled out.

 

stick with normal coolant, the jag engine is tempermental as are most of its systems, also doesn;t like silicone brake fluid either.

 

zed might be alright on it.

That's where I saw it reviewed thinking originally that it sounded a good idea but as you say the consensus seems not on Jags.

Has anyone actually used this stuff? I'm looking at replacing / upgrading my coolant hoses soon so will have to replace the coolant as well. Is this stuff worth it?
