Modifications that can be done on a budget?

Are you talking of visual mods or performance mods. If you have the 313 model then you`ll be lucky to get any extra power at all from any of the basic "normal" performance mods people do. - such as air filter, exhaust etc. In fact a "performance" cosworth air filter for example, will give you no extra power over a stock Nissan one. Mainly because Nissan highly developed the engine when they developed the car.

A different exhaust will change the exhaust note and make the car sound sporty, but not really add any bhp to it.

On an older 276bhp car, you can go for a different pendulum, airbox/filter, exhaust, and then a remap and get a few bhp out of it.

Visual mods... well, the list is endless really, depending on what you want to achieve? Mad & lairy? OEM? Drift car? you name it. Nismo bodykits, wheels, wheel spacers, bumper tuck, ipod mod, built in satnav tablet, different seats, stubby areal, euro wipers... white reflectors.. etc. etc.

Pop charger is a cone filter similar to an induction kit but simply bolts on to the oem intake pipe. Makes a nice induction growl under acceleration
