Apex brakes?

Has anyone any reviews of these? I've been offered a set very cheap and I'm considering going for the disc/pads for the front of the car.

 

If they're junk what disc's would everyone recommend? I've seen so many listed and everyone seems to have varying different opinions on the usual discs/pads listed on here!

AVOID if running Brembos

 

However will probably do a job if you are running JDM.

Out of interest why avoid if running brembos?

 

I'm being offered a set a fella over here bought for just under £50 for front disc's and pads I'd be temped to try them until I get paid and get some proper discs/pads ? only thing is its my brakes.. I don't want to not be able to stop...!

probably because they will munch them like a fat kid fires in about his bigmac

 

ferodo ds2500 is the way ahead, they are not a budget buster and they work great, most people on this forum will say the same thing.
