Auto locking doors and Auto fold in Mirros

Hi all

I have a 2009 370Z and wondered if it's possible to activate auto locking doors while driving?

Also is there anyway to activate auto fold in mirrors when the car is locked?

My 70 auto locks when I drive off, but then, it's a 10 plate.

mine didn't at first, but found somewhere a guide to set it - as before though, mine is a 61 plate

My 2009 doesnt seem to have the options.......

Auto fold mirrors in my opinion are a bit of a gimmick though ...I am quite happy pressing the button when I require them to fold. My last 350 had auto fold mirrors, but rarely did I use the feature as to be honest my concern is that if you over use the folding feature it will fail at some point!!

Locked doors whilst driving...Mmmm dangerous......that is something that would really worry me.

IIRC this was introduced to stop car jacking and such like when you stop at lights. I think all Merc's, Audi's, Beemer's have it as standard now.

Oh thats true, but what about if you need to get out in a hurry...or you are dissorientated after a shunt...

I wonder whats best?

I am guessing that they open from the inside just not the outside, like you say great until you have a big one and someone needs to remove the driver or passenger from vehicle if unconscious.
