elfman Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Good choice mate looks very nice! Must say it's nice to see a good dealer out there! Quote
Johnny A Posted January 6, 2013 Author Posted January 6, 2013 Elfman Agreed. Macklins were very good, fair to deal with, and Sam the sales guy is a proper petrolhead and really knows the cars. In Aberdeen, for a long time, Evans Halshaw were the only Nissan dealer. I'll be careful what I say, but let's put it this way - I always took my 350z on a 100 mile round trip to Arbroath (Mackie Motors) for servicing rather than a couple of miles to EH  . EH then stopped selling Nissans but would still service them at what was now really only a Renault dealership. 'Nuff said........ John Clark, the Aberdeen BMW/Audi dealer, then took on the Nissan franchise a few months ago. Haven't been there yet but may give them a go. Any of the other North East Scotland guys on the forum tried Clarks yet? Any thoughts? Johnny A Quote
Cragus Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 You love your bright colours mate! Congratulations - looks a tidy car! Quote
K370Z2 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Recently done exactly the same swap, The GTR i looked at was stunning but i am lucky if i do 4000 miles a year the running cost of the GTR made the 370Z the choice for me, did you go for the auto or manual Quote

Dont use them now as they didnt want to know. You could try checkpoint in arbroath they have a decent rep but they couldnt get my steering wheel straight when doing a 4 wheel alignment... Quote
Johnny A Posted January 30, 2013 Author Posted January 30, 2013 K370Z2 Manual. Dblock Thanks for the suggestion. Have to say that I've never had any problem with Mackies, although it has always just been routine servicing except for the time my fanbelt & auxiliary belt self-destructed. I know a few people who chose go there rather than EH for servicing............not that that says a lot! Quote
