Alison Giles Posted August 24, 2012 Share Posted August 24, 2012 The boot lid on my Z needs to be pulled up with both hands when opened after the car has been locked for a while. In other words you need one hand on the release button and need to pull the lid with the other hand to get it to open. If you shut it and open again, it opens as it should - i.e. can be done with one hand after you've released it (don't start the innuendos again!) : Anyone got any ideas? It's a pain the neck when you are carrying bags and have to put them down before you can open the boot. By the way - got a great new gearknob from kta - thanks for recommending on here. Never thought anything of it tho until I read this but I shall be having a go at the fix as it is a little annoying having to press the button and pull at the same time...
