Where's my pdf printer gone ? SORTED THANKS GUYS

Just got a new laptop at work ... Windows 7 Professional ... I also have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional installed ... both AutoCAD and Microsoft applications cannot find the PDF printer ... I have reinstalled Acrobat 3 times with the same result ... can anyone suggest what's wrong please

I didn't think acrobat came with a pdf printer? Download a separate one, CutePDF or Bullzip PDF printer work fine, simple download and install.

32 bit or 64 bit OS?

 

Many drivers have not yet been updated for 64 bit systems in default installations. Sometimes they have the correct installation files hidden in another folder, others haven't bothered providing them yet.

I use pdfcreator look at sourceforge for the link. always been faultless

Also to add that yes, adobe professional does have one. It utilises distiller to create them...is that installed ok?

That's it thanks ... I've now loaded Acrobat 8 and everything works

Yea I'll have a look at that when I get time ... in the meantime I need Acrobat cos I know it works with AutoCAD and my drawings come out at the correct scale; I have to upload about 50 drawings for a project before Friday
