Leosille Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Ive got a new plate and was wondering has anyone got any tips on getting the old ones off? Quote
KyleR Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Try some fishing line or similar in behind the plate, should cut through the foamy tape stuff that it's probably stuck on with. Quote
SteveW Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I used a hair dryer and petrol. Hair dryer to soften everything so could pull the plate off then petrol to clean up the bumper of adhesive marks ..... Probably not great for the paint but the but my bumper is getting replaced soon Quote
TomS Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I just pulled mine off The screws holding the plate in were rusted so I couldn't get them out. Didn't damage either bumper at all, just broke the rusted screws. Quote
robb350z Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I managed to just pull my plates off too with a little care and had no damage Quote
