Sound upgrade without adding too much weight??

You could always compromise.

Add the ICE and swap your boot for carbon.

In the end you'll be saving weight for the cost of an extra £5-600.

Have you got an aftermarket head unit yet? I had a big ol' audio install planned but stopped once I replaced the HU because it made way more difference on its than I ever thought it would. pretty much zero addad weight

Is that a dinner tray or an amp?

I believe it's actually a sub, I meant to google it when he mentioned it before on here...

Dave, I really like the sub that you have.

Can you provide me more info on your installation and what other components you're using?

Very true

Stage 1 - HU

Stage 2 - speakers

Stage 3 - Amps & sub

That's how I did it

Each stage makes a difference

You could get a sub like mine that is easily removed....

Pioneer TS WX77A??

That's the one, instalkation is easy as it is a combined amp/twin speaker sub.

All i had to do is run a live feed from the battery and a remote wire & RCA from the HU. It is held in place with velcro straps that fit nicely on the luggage organiser clips

Awesome. I got a thin piece of card in my boot which I'm not sure would hold the weight of this.

Any suggestions?

Also, can you post up your full ICE component list?
