Hi all

I noticed the other day that my passenger side skirt has decided to detach itself slightly from the car - i hope its not a major problem so was wondering whats the best way to cure this?

Cheers in advance

And heres a couple of pics showing both passenger and drivers side for comparison

Press it back in.

You've probs clipped a curb or speed hump and its popped the clip.

Though it could have snapped the clip, in which case you'll need a new clip.

Theres 3 brackets that hold the clips on the skirt, maybe they have broke off?

The clips are a couple quid each, and push into the female clip in the sill.

Hope this helps.

Took it to the nearest nissan garage to see what they'd say, apparently its an £700-£800 job as i need a whole new skirt which needs painting and fitting as the clips have "come off".

This sounds like crap to me and they are just looking at ripping me off. Can anyone point me in the right direction for these clips so i can atleast attempt to do the job myself?

Cheers

Bloody Stealers.

:pmzmanalex: clips are like £1 each or something.

I am assuming the 3 brackets are still attached to the skirt?

if the brackets are definitely broken am i forced to get a new skirt?

Cheers for the fast reply :)

Well you require the brackets intact as the clips slide into them.

It only takes 5 minutes to pull the skirt completely off the car, but be careful and not do any more damage.

Alex. :)
